This National Historic Site is located Cinncinati, Ohio. The site preserves the home of the 27th US President. Taft was a remarkable public servant who not only served as President, but continued to serve as Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court eight years after his term at the White House. He is the only person to have served in both positions. He also served earlier as a civil administrator to the Philippines under President McKinley and Secretary of War to President Teddy Roosevelt.
