If it's such a small world, then why haven't I seen more of it?!
About The Site
Nav: Short for 'navigation'...meaning travels here, there, and (just about) anywhere.
Nosh: A light meal or snack. Regardless, it means food, so I'm in!
Nip: Implying tasting of a tasty, and usually, alcoholic beverage...so I'm still in.
The intent of this site is to provide overviews of the places I've been, the things I ate, and the beverages I drank so I remember what I did...and so I can share my travels with friends (and anyone who happens to care about what I think of those things).
If you want a ‘top 10 things to do’ list, check somewhere else. You know if you want to go to a park or art museum. I’m all about the ‘you went there and you didn’t see it?!’ kind of items. Admittedly, sometimes the ‘must see’ items include parks (NYC Central Park) or museums (Louvre in Paris)…but I don’t list them here just so I can offer you 10 things to do. If I list it but haven’t been there in person, I’ll tell you. I do find a lot of enjoyment in learning how people live in places other than what I’m used to so you can spend days or weeks in a place and not pack each day with activities.
The site doesn't include places I haven't been to just to add content. It doesn't include photos I didn't take. It is NOT an in-depth review of every city or attraction but rather an overview of what I was able to do in the time I spent visiting or passing through somewhere. Sometimes I spend an hour seeing something and move on...other times, I may linger longer. Not all destinations are created equal and you shouldn't plan to spend your time sightseeing based on a duration of stay, but rather how much time you have to see something and the effort you're willing to put in.
Above all, I hope to provide some tips and inspire you to get out there to see things for yourself!
