The National Monument is Located in Flagstaff, Arizona. This is an interesting park centered around Native American cliff dwellings. The dwellings aren't as dramatic as Mesa Verde National Park, but they are different. This site uses tiers based on natural carveouts in the cliff, rather than all manmade bricks to create a multi-level structure. People lived in the cliffs and planted farms on the top of the mountain, where rain and sun were more accessible. A series of ladders and ropes were used to traverse some of the elevation. The rest of the terrain is path you walk today.
