Capital of Sweden. Notorious psychological condition. A great introduction to Sweden.

Nav:

Walking Tour: I joined an organized tour because I couldn't find one for free online. If I'm going to pay for a tour, I like to have a tour guide to ask questions to...you can't ask an app questions.

Vasa Museum: The Royal Warship Vasa sank on its maiden voyage in 1628. Poor engineering resulted in the ship being too top heavy. It was lost until 1961. It's now on display in a multi-level museum.

Nosh:

The Hairy Pig Restaurant: A farm to table kinda place. Not a huge menu but the flavors and execution are top notch. The vibe is still somewhat casual. The place is small so reservations are highly recommended.

Nip:

Guldbaren: Translates to gold bar. This is located in the Norrmalmstorg...the bank robbery that is famously associated with Stockholm Syndrome. Drinks weren't bad but it's more of a novelty. There are better drinks in the city.

Pharmarium: The first pharmacy in the city, outside of the palace walls, was at this location in 1571. There are a few cocktails that stay on the menu but most of them rotate. I don't even remember what these were but they were all fantastic. There is some seating where you can watch the cocktails be made at the pharmacy themed bar. There are some side tables and a cool bohemian style area.
