Singapore National Gallery: The gallery does charge admission but is a great overview of Singapore from early history, British colonial occupation, Japanese occupation, and today.

Singapore was a hopping place in the 1920s. It was invaded by the Japanese in the 1940s.

The Jewel: It's out near the airport. The rain vortex is the central attraction. The rainforest has entries from the outer ring.

Hawker Stalls: There are soooo many tasty options to choose from. These stall width eateries have everything from food, drinks, desserts, pastries, and more.
