Located in Albany. Completed in 1899, then Governor Theodore Roosevelt declared the building complete (following significant budget overages). Notable features include the use of Corsehill sandstone imported from Scotland to construct the Great Western Staircase. There are 77 faces carved into the walls along the staircase, including Abraham Lincoln, Susan B. Anthony, Frederick Douglass, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
