This National Historic Site is located in Independence, California. The site is one of 10 locations where Japanese and Japanese-Americans were interred following the bombing of Pearl Harbor. This is the best preserved / reconstructed. In addition to the relocation, people had to answer a series of questions regarding their loyalty to the United States.
