Jackson or Jackson Hole? Jackson Hole is the valley south of the Teton Mountains. Jackson is the town at the south end of the valley.

Nav:

Jackson Town Square: A selfie at the Antler Arches are a tell tale sign you are in Jackson.
Pro Tip: There is a nightly 'Wild West Shootout' between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The story is made up but apparently an attraction in the city streets since 1957. It was cancelled early when I arrived for the last show of the season. Stay a couple days if you want to see the show...and arrive early for a good place to view.

Skiing: Lift tickets and accommodations can be expensive. However, there is great skiing at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, about 25 minutes north.

Nosh:

The Bunnery: A great breakfast joint. Be prepared for a little bit of a wait if you aren't up and at it early.

Nip:

Roadhouse Brewery: The High Fives are Good beer wasn't my favorite...too much smoke. Looks like they quit making it, which is fine by me. The rest of the beers were good and I like the names.

Million Dollar Cowboy Bar: Located in Town Square, this place seems to be an institution of sorts. Live music was fun. Bar stools are horse saddles. Nothing inventive about a whiskey sour or rum and coke but they were good.
