Capital city. Luaus. Tourists. Big waves.
The majority of the population of Hawaii lives on Oahu and the majority of the island is based out of Honolulu.

Nav:

Hawaii State Capitol: Built in 1969. A slight more elegant on the interior than the exterior. Understated but appropriate for the time it was built.

Iolani Palace: The only royal palace in the United States.

Honolulu Museum of Art: A collection of treasures with Asian Pacific themes.

Pearl Harbor: December 7th, 1941...a date which will live in infamy. The primary draw to the site is the wreckage of the USS Arizona.

Waikiki Beach: Lots of food, restaurants, shopping, and hotels. The beach is a hot spot for tourists. Catamarans and surfing lessons are popular activities on the water.

Nosh:

Naniwa-Ya Ramen: Located in the Ala Moana Shopping Center. This was pretty good, especially for a mall food court. The texture of the noodles had the perfect amount of chew.

Maui Brewing Co: This is the Oahu taproom of the Maui based brewery.
