Independence Palace: The location was a presidential palace and the site of the end of the Vietnam War.

Mekong River Tour: The Mekong is an iconic river is Asia but it's a lifeline for many Vietnamese. Fishing, transportation, and irrigation are all possible because of the river. The tour I was on takes you by a few vendors who offer samples, a fruit snack, and a candy shop.

City Walk: The Saigon Central Post Office was designed by Gustave Eiffel, who designed the namesake tower in Paris. There are markets, traffic, and Circle K convenience stores (a good place for snacks and beer).

Nosh:

Hông Hoa: The classic banh mi sandwich. It's been a long culinary tradition in Vietnam but the French introduced the baguette, changing the sandwich to what it is today.

Ruông: Centrally located so there are lots of tourists and expats here. Food was good.

Nip:

Bia Thu Công: A craft brewery, which was a nice change from the light canned beers that are so popular.

Larue: The local light canned beer. Nothing wrong with it and it's cheap.
