Located in Independence, Missouri, on the east side of Kansas City. The site follows the life and political career of the 33rd President. He was an officer in France during WWI as an artillery officer. He eventually became a judge, then asenator, then a vice-president, and eventually a president. He took office on April 12, 1945, when FDR died suddenly of a cerebral hemorrhage 82 days into his fourth term in office.
