Located in Colonial Beach, Virginia, I'd have to say this National Monument was a disappointment. It's the area George Washington was born in 1732 but the house is a reproduction of what it 'might have looked like'. Generations of Washingtons lived here and their story is told. However, I was sssuuuuppperr disappointed to find out the actual house or even an actual replica isn't there. The Memorial House on the locations where George was born was completed in 1931 based on family member input and historical evidence on where the home would have been.
