A port town with a history of resistance to tough Soviet labor conditions. It’s a beautiful city, especially at night. I only spent one night due to high lodging cost associated with the Festival of St. Dominic.

Architecture along the river has to maintain the shape of traditional structures. There are modern interpretations but it creates a harmony between old and new.
Nosh:
Tried something different at White Rabbit Consular Bar. Chips were weird and the dipping sauce was nasty. I’d skip this place in the future.

Some local beer at the Yard Cafe while waiting for a river cruise.
