I stopped in the north end of the park since I was traveling on to the Big Cypress National Preserve. No sharks that I could tell but there were plenty of gators and birds. The address of the Shark Valley entrance is technically in Miami...but there is no Little Havana or nightclub here. About an hour south of Miami. There is a wide paved path to walk through the park. Read signage well and don't go off the path.
