Death Valley is the lowest, hottest, and driest National Park. It's also the hottest place on Earth in the summer, with a recorded temperature of 134 degrees. The park is huge...with over 3 million acres of land to explore.

Things to see:
Furnace Creek Visitor Center: The overview video presented in the visitor center is narrated by Donald Sutherland. You can get maps and recommendations for things to see/do based on your time allowed and capabilities.
Artist's Palette: A beautiful drive through Artist's Drive Scenic Loop. Hills with red, blue, yellow, etc are scattered across the landscape. There are several short hikes to scenic overlooks as well.
Badwater Basin: At -282 feet below sea level, the park is home to the lowest place in North America.
