Located on California's northern coast, this is an underrated part of the state. However, you have Redwoods National Park available to you from here.

This is a nice park but the National Park has the advantage of coastline. Redwood National Park didn’t have a lot of traffic when I went through but this had even less. A key distinction for me was the amount of dirt on the flora. I get pavement doesn’t make a great park but a little more gravel on the roadway would be nice.

Seaquake Brewing: The food is really good. Bacon cheeseburger, calamari strips, and a fried chicken sandwich. I didn't have one but the pizza looked also looked delicious.

Seaquake Brewing: The beer is just as good as the food. They do package several of their products for grocery stores if you can't get there to try it on draft.
