Capital of Denmark. Home to the royal family. Former home of Hans Christian Andersen, author of The Ugly Duckling, Princess and the Pea, and The Little Mermaid (you know of the story Disney adapted from the 1837 novel).

Nav:

City Walk: There is a lot to appreciate from the outside. Of course, you can decide what interests you and what you want to go into.

City Hall: Part government building, part art gallery. The building was completed in the early 1900s (so young by European building standards) but it's a beautiful icon of the city that fits right in.

Amalienborg (Royal Palace): Home to the current monarch. There are several palaces on the circular shaped complex, where various generations of the family reside.

Frederik's Church: The Marble Church is nearby the palace and worth at least a quick look.

Nosh:

Nyhavn 37: Named for the address, number 37 on Nyhavn Street. Its on the Nyhavn Canal so seafood seemed to be an appropriate choice.

Nip:

Carlsberg and Tuborg: Doesn't matter where you go, they seem to be the national brews so you should be able to find them rather easily.
