The hometown of five of the disciples of Jesus (Peter, Andrew, James, John, and Matthew). Historians believe Jesus stayed with Peter (at Peter's mother-in-laws house) and essentially moved to Capernaum after leaving Nazareth. There is a Catholic church built over the home of Peter.
