Capital of South Australia, this is a warm area with great beaches and a warm dry climate ideal for grapes. The Barossa Valley and similar regions in the state make this some of the best wine in the country. I enjoyed the street art and murals.

Nav:

Migration Museum: Human migration is a theme for sure but more interest to me were the exhibits about poverty in early Australia. The museum is located on the site of the old Destitute Asylum (poor house) that was also used as a school or indigenous children.

Street Art: Just walk around the city core. Maybe start near Adelaide Central Market, check out Chinatown, then see where the road leads you.

State Library / South Australian Museum / House of Parliament: Things in formaldehyde in jars, books, boomerangs.

Nosh:

Pu Thai Cuisine: Located in a Chinatown food court.

Mismatch Brewing: Had a Hazy Moutere. They have several fruit flavored brews on tap, but a few session beers if fruit forward isn’t your thing.
Pro Tip: Save some cash by buying a bottle of South Australian wine and enjoying it in your room after a long day of adventuring.
