We Like Ike. The World's Largest Belt Buckle. Murals. This is a working town in the midwest trying to reinvent itself, as many towns (even outside the midwest) are. It's worth a stop, especially if you're into American history.

Nav:

Eisenhower Presidential Library and Boyhood Home: This was where President Dwight D. Eisenhower (aka. Ike) grew up. Like other presidential libraries, this one contains records from the administration, artifacts, and tells the story of the administration. The library is adjacent to the home where he grew up.
Pro Tip: If you want to see presidential libraries, there is a passport book available at the facilities sponsored by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). If you visit all 13 and send your book in, you get a letter from the National Archivist congratulating you on the achievement. The NARA libraries start at President Hoover onward. The Obama library is not open to the public and the Trump library isn't built yet.

Murals: You can find out a lot about a town from the murals they commission and the stories they tell about what's important to the locals. It's also a demonstration of civic pride.

Boots: They call it Celebrating Cowboy Roots With Cowboy Boots. You can find the locations of them all here.

Nosh:

Midwest Creamery and Q: Everything is homemade...even the coleslaw, barbecue sauce, and ice cream. The texture of the sausage (from a guest farm) was a bit off but the pulled pork and brisket were good. The regular sauce was better than the spicy BBQ. The chocolate ice cream was good but it tasted more like dulce de leche because of a definitive cinnamon note.

Nip:

Manhattan Brewing Co at Brookville Hotel: The venue is a reconstruction of the Brookville Hotel...no lodging, just a restaurant. The carried the ale and IPA from Manhattan Brewing on draft (as well as some national domestic taps).
